Hikers find plenty of opportunity at Lake Darling State Park. We went there a group of 4 of us today late September. The park, campground, lake and other amenities are now open to the public. Needs serious trail work. We stayed in an electric site; it had 50 amp service. There was a picnic table at the small campsite and a great bear box for storing food.
